1955 Ford Thunderbird - $55,000

All black paint with solid red interior. Correct data plate colors.

A Dallas car until 1979, OKC thereafter. Restored fIrst in Dallas in 1980 by current owner, then again in 2002 in OKC by Terry Harris (mechanical) and Steve Cook

(paint & body & assembly).

Larry's Thunderbird and CAS CO were the restoration parts sources.

Terry Harris Mechanical Work:

Body off frame, frame sand blasted, epoxy painted, fabricated a dro~out center "X" cross member fore easy transmission removal.

Ford crate motor: 351 Windsor, 385 hp, de-cammed, powder "coated headers.

Larry Wilson Ford AOD four -speed overdrive automatic transmission with air cooler. Currie Nine Inch 3.50 limited slip differential.

Fat Man's Mustang II suspension, rack & pinion power steering and disc brakes. Painless Street Rod wiring harness, complete. Vintage integral heat and air system.

Dual master cylinder, power brakes, disc on front.

Mallory pointless distributor with mechanical tach drive Stainless exhaust system, Flowmaster muffiers. All new rubber, chrome, stainless polished.

Steve Cook Body & appearance Work

Body & paint - flawless.

Headlight doors faired into body lines, Door hinges replaced.

Gas filler door in deck lid filled in, Electric trunk release.

Solid red interior from Larry's installed by Kevin '56 trunk mat

Three point over the shoulder retracting seat belts

Newly cast steering wheel with modern material, not NOS black rubber. Bumpers pulled closer to body
